Holiday Photo Session - Dec. 5 & 6

This time every year Christmas tree lots fill with people searching for the ideal tree while I start looking for the perfect picture to enclose with my holiday card. After sorting through piles of pictures, I finally decide the picture can wait until next year's Christmas card.

All Aboard! Culver Library Installation

Okay, this was a fun project. Kevin Berger of Easterday Construction contracted Imagine Studios to enlarge a 3" postcard to cover this double door in the Culver Library! Sarah showed off her mad graphic design skills and worked a little Illustrator magic for this image. I was impressed.

This is me making some final touches on applying the vinyl image to the door.

Below is Sarah replacing the door knob she took off earlier. The best part about our studio is the wide range of skill sets we get to play with.

Book Cover Design: The Journey of Pastor Mike

Local author David Gudeman came to Imagine Studios for a book cover design. He handed me the manuscript to read before we began any photography or design work and once I started reading, I could not put it down. We had 2 photography sessions for the cover and author photos, and from that Imagine Studios created 5 comps of varying designs and photographs until we decided on the final that you see. David is self-publishing his book and should have copies ready for purchase by the holiday season. I always thought it would be exciting to design a book cover and I was right! One of the best elements of this project was working with the author because he was doing what Imagine Studios is doing, pursuing a dream.
