Innovate Mailer

Imagine Studios just completed a project creating a postcard invitation for the Executive Forum Group in South Bend. The topic of the conference is "Innovate, navigating through your breakthrough." The guest speaker is Sarah Miller Caldicott, the great-grand niece of Thomas Edison. She will discuss her new book about the methods Edison employed to develop over 1000 patents in his lifetime.

On a pure design level, Sarah and I went through about 5 revisions on the card before we settled on the card you see. We set out to create a dynamic card that would keep the attention of the viewer even after the information was absorbed. I believe the image is strong enough to warrant a second look. The energy in the motion of the character, the movement of the clothing in the wind, and the strong arm pulling the book all work together to presage an escape from the current situation and leaving the desolate field behind (just had a photography critique flashback after that riff!). This event is about "Navigating Through Your BREAKTHROUGH!"
