MCEDC Invitation

This is the Open House postcard Imagine Studios designed for the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation. We have been working on this project for over 3 months photographing, printing and framing images of Marshall County businesses, creating 4 large canvas collages for the executive boardroom, and shooting footage for a video that will show on the flat screen television in the front office. Our time spent collaborating with the MCEDC has been a very positive experience and Sarah and I have gained a genuine appreciation for the members of the MCEDC and their commitment to the growth of Marshall County. The Open House is this Friday the 28th from 3PM-7PM. We will have more images to share after the open house. See you there! Angela

Keeping up

In my last post I mentioned we were working on our website. I can't wait to finish it. I plan to have it by Friday. I have much to do before Friday: ice 20 cupcakes for my son's Holiday party tomorrow, organize my daughter's class party, mail Christmas cards (I still have to print the picture insert), work in Culver, finish up a website, two therapy sessions for my son and babysit my niece. Wow, that made me tired just writing it all out!

Today we purchased another camera, a Nikon D90! It is amazing. I found a great deal at Circuit City. I have a special talent, finding amazing deals and spending money. I should have been a personal shopper. We were going to wait until summer to purchase a new camera, but this was too great to pass up. We have borrowed my dad's camera for different projects, but it is time we have two cameras. It was scary making a purchase of that size. It reminded me of my first apartment. Exciting to be on my own, away from my parents and getting my first credit card. More to come...

Welcome

Thanks for visiting our new blog for Imagine Studios. Imagine Studios is the creation of Sarah Perschbacher and Angela Ridenour. Now for a little history to get you started. We have been friends for years, working in restaurants together as we both pursued Art degrees at Indiana University. Once we graduated in 2005 (Sarah with a BA degree in Graphic Design and Angela with a BFA in photography) we both did freelance gigs in our fields while we continued to work in restaurants and search for a "real job." We knew what we wanted to be when we grew up, but the search for the elusive dream job was taking too long, so we harnessed our energy and created it ourselves. So....welcome to Imagine Studios, LLC. Thanks for stopping by. Check in once in awhile to see some examples of what we've been up to.
